Practice Background
Leichhardt suburb is located west of Ipswich CBD. Leichhardt family practice was established in one Mile by 2012. The newly built medical centre is in an area that has a mixed socioeconomic status and caters for an ageing, single and young family population. The suburb is changing with new housing developments opening up. There are 2 local schools in close vicinity of the practice as well as a community centre. The practice premises are shared with a blood collection centre.

Our practice provides comprehensive general practice care and has special interests including chronic disease management of diabetes, asthma, heart disease, care plans, health assessments, immunisations, antenatal share care, pre-employment medicals, insurance medicals, drivers licence medicals, general paediatrics, women’s, and men’s health
